So up until 6 months ago, I wouldn’t even have known what a gear tie was…….yeah it’s almost embarrassing. I am finding them to be a big part of my set up. I’m using them through the Molles in my saddle to hold my sticks, on my tether biner to hold it there with no weight. I also wrap lines with it and attach my bow retriever line with them. As a newbie the uses of these simple bendable sticks are endless and I wanted to give other newbies a heads up about them. Anyone else using them?

BTW-I found them just cheap at Home Depot as I did online. Lots of different sizes and some have a hole in the end so you can hitch them. The blaze orange is also a plus as deer see the orange as a grey color, and it’s easier for a guy like me to find them.

I always buy the multipack that has a few different sizes in it. I love the nite-ize s-biners as well
