I’ve spent way too much time looking for the right pack for my set up but I am very pleased with this ‘Condor Venture’ pack I found on Amazon for $73. Feels like great quality, internal frame, and the right size (25L) for me. Most importantly, it carries great with the waist belt. I also am enjoying the flat scout from ooal.

Only 1 hunt in with this pack but thought I’d share for all you pack lovers out there. I haven’t seen this pack on the forum and figured maybe it would work for someone else’s set up.

That's a good looking pack for a good price. The search for a good/perfect pack seems never ending..
 
That’s for sure! Obviously it’s not quite perfect. Wish it was camo, but it hits most of the check marks I was looking for in a pack. I was skeptical and it has exceeded my expectations.

I’m deciding between the flat scout in the picture and the predator platform that is on the way. I actually got the pack because I thought that front pouch might fit the predator perfectly. Looking forward to see if it fits once it arrives.

Man, how many times have I said “well I sold this and that so this new doo-dad was practically free” to my wife when another box showed up...

You could dye it in walnut hulls wont be camo but it will no longer be tan lol

I'd like to have that pack and 5 Tethrd One sticks sideways like you have yours and my platform bungee corded to that molle panel.

Duplicolor makes a good fabric/vinyl spray paint in several colors (including earth tones). I had a pack a similar color and I sponge painted it with that paint and it looks good (muted and fuzzed the color) and has held up great. Just a thought, if you want to camo it. Also, the smell left pretty quick. They sell the paint at some auto stores. Since it is a spray paint, you could also mask it off and spray it (ASAT pattern etc). It doesn't flake and is flexible.

Thanks I’ll probably look into that! My worry was spray paint may leave a strange residue or scent. I’ll check out the fabric paint.
