Low Down Hunting Seat

How low do you want to go? I'm really intrigue by the shallow in ground blind method but love the views from the tree too much. Someday that might change and I'll be tearing my garage looking for my old Army folding shovel.

What was more impresive to me was that pop up blind he had. What was he using to hold all that brush? That looked money!

I have used my platform as a seat. The saddle would do the same but never thought of it. You could be a $10 hammock from Walmart. This just seems to solve a non problem. At least in my opinion.

Here is my setup:
One I used a Drey Dryad the other I used a light hiking swivel chair.
The Dryad/ Blind is an ultra light setup that fits in my small Badlands pack.

You been chopping deers up lately so we gonna need details on that blind good sir.
I made the blind this year, from some light ripstop material and built tent poles that snap apart. It still needs some improvements.
The wind has its way with it. I need to hem the top with a light strap. I want to add tabs in the center of each panel to secure fabric from whipping in the wind. I will list some links and get some better pics with weights.

I have been messing around with different configurations and heights.... I think I nailed it on this one.

The commercial versions of that have vent holes cut in it to let the wind pass through more and not turn it in to a sail as easily, they also add some realism when they flutter like leaves would

Your right, I have used them and think they move too much. Tough to say. I dont have a farm I can practice on. I may do a few holes, but will start with the stakes.

I'm pretty interested in the tent poles. You said you built them? What did you use?

I should start a different thread for this. I will pull the gear out and show you guys the details.
Thanks buddy. I'll be waiting. Been looking for a DIY super-lightweight, go-with-me-anywhere blind for when I take my daughter along.

Yes... apologies to OP
