This is where she was standing when the arrow hit. When you can watch the blood pump on the very first step, it's definitely a good hit.
After a very easy 100 yard track job, recovered this nice sized doe. She presented me with an 18 yard quartering shot, arrow hit third rib back and came out just in front of the off side shoulder. We love venison, so time to fill up the freezer.
