We're definitely not going to make this conversation about this site or that site otherwise I'll lock this thread. Let's keep the discussion to the actually products whether good or bad and leave it at that. Thanks guys.
I can say that I was looking for an ultralight system. I was going to get on the LWCG bandwagon but I;ve always found it better in life to not be an early adopter. Wait and see what the reviews are. Then call the ball.
I can say that the early adopters of LWCG and their feedback helped me make a decision. I passed ontheLWCG sticks and stand and ordered a Saddle! Got the Predator platform and the Kestrel Flex.
I have an 8.5 pound Assault 1 (old school one) and that will fulfill my stand needs until The Beast stand is out on the market. I was eyeballing the beast sticks, but I'm a short dude and the stride seems really long for me.
I think just about everyone is shocked how easy a 22” step is when you actually try it. Free stepping is a big difference compared to grabbing a tree for leverage as you climb. I’m 5’10” and honestly I would like my Beast sticks to be 2-3” longer.I’m a short dude as well (5’7”) but have no problems with a 22” step. I set my helium’s at 20” step when I cut them down, but the extra 2” isn’t a bad stretch.
I just cancelled my LWCG stick order, I hope the Beast sticks are available for this hunting season.
