Do you see any issues taking the front bar off completely? I think then it would be just like a LW hand climber but with a sling seat

It looks like it is just bolted on the front and not bracing it in any way so I don't think it would hurt anything taking it off! With that being said if you take it off and then when you use it you notice it twisting or acting like it is weaker you might want to replace it! Be safe and check it at ground level before climbing good luck brother.

That bar helps keep the rigidity of the upper section as well as a place to sit while climbing...I would follow https://saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?members/recurveaholic.5448/, and try at ground level first, and put it through testing that you normally wouldn't do while in the tree 20ft up...I'd hate to disform the upper section through testing, but would hate to find out it's not possible while being 20ft up...be safe
