Who has replaced the stock cam buckle straps that come with these? What are your recommendations for a non-metallic system? I'm willing to use either the versa button or the crossover tabs that these new sticks have. LMK your thoughts. Thanks.

I watched a few YouTube videos on splicing amsteel, then bought enough of it to splice eyes for each of the versa buttons leaving 8’ lengths for each of my 4 LWCG sticks. Then watched several more videos on how to secure them to the tree. I like them a lot. Stronger than steel and feather light with zero noise. I keep them in the backpack so I don’t have to wrap them up when packing in/out.
