$499? Ain't that bad. Look at the loc-ons, lol. I preordered mine.

UPDATE: shipping to me on 24 may.
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: mine came yesterday.

Anybody that has a Trophyline mission but wants to try the ranger could probably save a lot of money if they have a lock on with an 1-1/4” seat post. Just rob the seat post from the stand, put it on your mission and play with adding the batwing and versa button where they make sense.

You could at least give that a shot and see if it works for you before you drop a bunch of money on a ranger.

Anyone have any updates on this? Worth it? Or for same price just get a .5?

I hung it on a tree out back a few times. As far as quality it is what you would expect from LWCG. It’s solid. I bought it to use only for all day sits. It will be nice to have the option to sit for short periods of time and also take weak side shots (if time allows). But I would say, if you like to sit more than you like to stand, the .5 is by far the better option.

It fits me, as a loc on and a saddle hybrid. I really like the no cables on it. I will definitely be using it for my primary platform. And it is quality made obviously. I'm carrying it on my popup 28 between the pack and the frame where you'd carry your meat. So my entire rig with sticks is on the popup 28.

So, this is my women's Mystery Ranch Popup 28 pack (discontinued).

The red towel you may see keeps the hybrid teeth from digging into pack material. I'm going to try a piece of pipe insulation around the teeth.

It's not as clean looking yet cause I'm not finished with contents of the pack, besides my saddle. Compression straps keep it altogether. The seat does not bother me when I'm wearing it.

Questions are welcome.
