I’m sure it has been done but can a versa button be added to the m7? Any info would be very helpful.
 
I don’t have any pics right off hand, but I added one to mine. Cut the big aluminum “tooth” for the bracket off the back and put on a tethrd tree bracket. I will add, I used a button from EWO and when using a LW strap, the button is almost too small for the strap. I’ll try and get some pics and show what I did.

I know we're saddle hunters, but I think most of us came from the hang-and-hunt crowd lol. I have some custom made delrin/acetal bushings, in black, that I had made to facilitate a Millenium M7 Microlight Versa-Button mod... It perfectly fills one side of the offset holes on the vertical shaft...

I've been using my m7 with a versa button for 1 archery season now. I have run it with amsteel as well as a strap but my versa button is from XOP . I love it.
