Major sit/drag breakthrough for me

I know someone has already thought of this, but on my trek through our local army/navy store I stumbled up on this....kidney pad.

Tried it out last night and it is way better than any strap that I have every used. 55 27T 55 28T kidney pad copy combo _size0.jpg

I had the older linmans belt that came with the original woodpecker drill and had the pad sewed inside. I also made a few belts by using some wide belt used in a sawmill, sewed to seatbelt webbing with double D rings sewed to one end and D rings on each side. Light & worked well.
 
I just used two sit drags. @ImThere uses a similar setup. I think his has linesmans loops built in.
 
Yes my back rest is a molle waist belt and I put a Ernie’s outdoors linesman inside as the belt. Absolutely comfortable
