Im very excited to make the change from tree stand to saddle hunting this year. Haven’t got anything yet but I’v got a list of everything im going to get from my saddle to my pack.
 
I’m not far behind you! Getting to try out some saddle gear with other members in the next couple weeks. As long as I like it as much as I’m sure I will, I’ll start picking off gear as money allows :)
 
I just got into it mid way through last bow season with a sit-drag and RC harness. Perfect cheap setup to see if I like it. Needless to say, absolutely loved this type of hunting. Now I have a mantis on the way, WE stepps on the way and rope and ascenders for a SRT system I have been practicing with. Can't wait to put it all together this season. Seems like the more time I spend on this forum, the more money I end up spending...

Waiting on my first saddle as well. Can’t wait to give it a try. Have not hunted out of a tree since I started hunting the mountains. Really hope this is the answer to getting back off the ground.
