Mantis loop usage ?

Hi everyone !

just received my mantis and predator and noticed there is webbing loop (similar those where we can hook leg straps) near the micro adjuster ... watched a video on the micro adjuster and the mantis on the video does not have those loops. Figured it is on the new version of the saddle but don’t know what it is used for.... thanks for the info !

Yep those are the second hookup point for the leg straps. You can use those or the ones on the waist belt

Some people prefer the comfort of the lower loops over the upper waist belt loops. I am one of those people. However the lower loops suck for walking with your saddle on.

I feel most comfortable hooking them on the bottom strap when at height, but use the belt loops for the walk in. Just change the hook up before climbing

l will try that since I was not 100% comfortable in the tree.
