I’m unsure of what size mantis saddle to order I’m a size 38 waist, 5’10, 220lbs. Should I get the large or XL I emailed Tethrd a week ago asking but haven’t heard back.

I’m close to ur size and think an XL would be best

I have a Lg and it’s great for leaning but not as good for sitting

I have to ask what is the sizing chart in inches for each mantis size for leg straps? Some people may have smaller waists but big thighs. I see guy saying what size should I get ,my waist is a 38. Though if your a northern hunter having to stay warm, the saddle has to be over your winter layers. A guy with a 40 in waist would have a tight fit in an XL hunting In 20 degree weather up north.
My Family laughs when it gets cold. I look like the Michlan man walking out the door. But I can put that safety harness under my outer wear. I can see wearing a double zip coat over the saddle but layering on tbe bottom half has to be under the saddle. Increasing waist and thigh inches.

I'm looking to get into saddle hunting and meet your discription prefectly. Stocky build, 40 inch waist, and hunt mostly in Michigan. Looking for suggestions on what saddle, leaning towards the Kestrel for that reason.
