Finally finished my fifth diy saddle.. I call it my pants saddle, truly looks like you're wearing a pair of strange looking pants :p
Essentially it's a kestrel clone and made of all recycled materials from old harnesses, old pair of hunting pants, and some blackout curtain material which is backed with vinyl. Makes for some good cheap material for the inside of the saddle.

I am working on the same design. I'm just looking for a cheap garage sale pair of pants/shorts that is larger than my size to accomodate for my hunting pants and possibly a little insulation for colder sits.
