I inherited a Marlin 39a from my grandfather several years back. It was in several pieces in a box with a broken stock. The parts were all there and bluing was in great shape. I had to replace the magazine tube because the old one was split. I got a new Boyd’s stock this week and I think it turned out pretty good.

Can't beat that!

May 1 edit: Coming back for a second pass... Still looks great, my dryer sheet box inspired joke did not work.

Thanks, I debated with the glossy walnut stock but settled on the laminate.
