Massachusetts Saddle Get Together

I put it in my calendar can’t wait to this. Never been in a saddle myself but been doing a ton of research lately and weighing all the different options it’s a little daunting. My wishlist has changed about 10 times. Being able to see them in action will definately be a plus. It’s also great it’s so close to me wouldn’t of imagined there would be so many in my neck of the woods!

Thanks ! I appreciate the offer and will probably take you up on that offer. I’m going to pull the trigger on one before than but would like to try different options as well. It’s between the mantis and kite and I’m leaning more towards the kite at the moment. I have sticks I’m going to shorten up as well as a hand climber seat for climbing methods to start with and have an original LW assault prolly gonna make a platform or two out of. Should keep me busy for a like while.

I have a Kestrel saddle. I also have WE Stepps, LW, Muddy and Gorilla sticks all full length. I have a Predator coming too.

I’m definitely interested in the we step and aider method I’ve been reading about but I have a set of xop sticks that I’m going to cut down and install double steps for the time being as funds are tight. I’ve been wanting to cut down for my hangon setup as well. Who knows I might never use the hang on again ...

I used to hunt October mountain when I was in my twenties. LOL a long time ago. We used to camp there and bowhunt gee 30 plus years ago.

Anyone one coming in April currently using a ROS? I'm interested in the method, and would love to give it a try without having to buy the whole thing. I just went on doublestep.com, and those squirrel steps ain't cheap.

I have a couple of Ameristeps that I have on one of my WE Steps. We can always throw those onto a ratchet for you. I also have my furniture bracket ROS that I use for my permanent setups that you can try. I may have a modified version of those as well by then. Pete

We'll definitley have WE Stepps to play with, but I am also curious about something like the Squirrelsteps or Ameristeps. We'll be able to cobble something together I am sure!

I will do my best to be there, i have the squirrel steps and the bullmans steps you could try.

I have both ameristeps and squirrel steps i will bring for guys to try. I will also bring a predator as well. I can do a complete walk through of my wildedge climbing method and of course sporting the Tethrd Mantis lol!!

If I can make it I’ll bring my gear down and show you how I’ve been using it as well. 3 LW sticks double steps on top with moveable aider for climbing, mantis and predator. Does Mass charge a tax to enter the state still........ just joking.
