So this weekend we had our Mid10 Deerhunters club weekend.
We all stayed at Henry Horton State Park. We had a fantastic time , 8 guys ended up showing up. I didn’t make it Friday night but they all hung out Friday night.
We hunted all day Saturday and Sunday morning, quite a few deer were seen. Several other guys seen at least 1. Nobody actually got a chance to harvest one until Catman connected near a persimmon tree on Sunday evening. The heat made for really tough hunting.
We ate like Kings!
Friday evening they had pulled pork. We ate pretty good at Glendale store Saturday afternoon before going back out for the evening hunt. Fred cooked dinner we had duck wrapped with bacon jalapeños cream cheese that evening.
Sunday morning there was sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits, and potatoes.
We did have a give a way from our fine sponsors.
I want to thank them for there generosity.

came though with a lot of swag. They sent an XL Mantis out for us to check out. It’s incredible so light. The buckles are light weight and held strong. It’s really is a work of art. I couldn’t find any issues with the stitching, the straps the splice. Everything was on point. Guys this thing it really well made. I’m looking forward to purchasing my own.

Came through with an incredible amount of scents, dispensers and boot scent pads. This stuff seems legit. To my nose it smells exactly like what the bottle describes. It may not mean much but when I was walking out of the wood Sunday I bumped my #1 target buck he was feeding up the trail I had walked hours before. I had used the Autumn spray on my boots before walking in. It seemed to work. Time will tell.

Sent out some awesome pruners with pouches. They cut fantastic and fit in the pouches well you can clip them on your belt and you won’t know it. We did get pink ones but that was a choice. Eric had lost a pair or two of green ones he thought maybe these would be easier to see.
I think next year will grow a little and we will have more fun and hopefully put some people close to deer.
Please follow these guys, support the sponsors if you can.
