Milkweed for Uwharrie hunters

Murph, Please point me in the right direction. What is a good area to park in and walk in? I am in Pinehurst, so would be coming from the SE. Never been up there, would like to know a good area to start and where it is legal to park. Milkweed is an added bonus.

I park at the Thornburg farm and the birkhead wilderness area. Robbins branch also has parking. Not too far from Pinehurst

Finally found milkweed without looking, came outta the woods tonight back to my truck and looked over to see a bunch 3 feet from my truck.

The best place I've found to look is along the interstate ROW fence, It never gets mowed.

If you see monarch butterflies milkweed is not far away. it is fun to drop milkweed and see the currents, especially on hillsides
