Milkweed Pouch

Rubber band wrapped on the pod at just the right amount of tightness. Keep it on there while the pods dry. When you hunt, you roll down the rubber band part way to allow the floaters to be plucked out. They pull out like kleenex.
I put a clip on the pod so I can hang it off my coat for easy access with minimal movement.
I'm telling you guys...I've used milkweed for more years than a lot of you
have been alive. Add a clip and leave the floaters in the pod.

I leave it in the pod too but I have to wrap it in tape then cut a slit in it. I tried hanging just a pod from my coat and it was smashed and bashed after about a week.
 
Where are you all buying your milkweed pods? Or are buying the seeds and just planting them in the back yard

Didn't read all the responses so sorry if its already been suggested.
Been using milkweed for almost 40 years of deer hunting. Been using from day one plastic 35mm film canisters as a holder. Doubt there is a better container for the purpose. Been using the same three 35mm film canisters for at least 15 years as they seem to never wear out.
 
I have a bunch in baggies if someone is just looking to stuff a dispenser of some kind. I have more than I’ll use in 20 years.
All I ask is the shipping, but I don’t turn down donations to my archery and saddle hunting habit!

They're in the woods. All it takes is some walking. Check fields, pipelines, power lines, etc You should be able to find enough for years of enjoyment. I haven't stocked up on them since 2016 lol. I still have a full Ziploc sandwich baggie that I haven't used. This summer I will pick about another 5 yrs worth.
