i'm using some carbon soap from dano at ewo this year. cuts the oil and much more pleasant than the liquid soaps with their special enzymes. i could use this soap all year, i even rub the bar on my head for 'shampoo'. i'm an oily guy and with dead down wind i felt like i hardly showered, even if i washed twice in the shower

i wanted to have a backup tether, so i ordered some rescutech and trc because i couldn't get oplux

i'm glad i did

the trc with a distel hitch bites and holds just as well as oplux, but it breaks free easier with the rescutech

it also is slightly stronger and supposedly doesn't absorb water as much as oplux

i think it is a better rope
