Mock scrapes…go.

Nothing! Die haahd Bruins fan heeah, bud. And you’ll nevah catch me sayin nothin bad aboat Bah Hahbah. Hahaha just saying he needs to know his geography much better and the deer woods are NOT the same.

I’m from Maine and my in-laws live in Delaware, so I have been to the great state of Delaware many, many times. I can tell you that geographical confusion is common - my mother thinks Delaware is just a stones throw from Florida!!!!!

yeah a 20 hour stone’s throw, easily. Grab you a Delaware license, sir! So much public land. And if you can get permission on some DuPont property…

BOOM. Thought I’d ID’d a licking branch by the lake, just saw a decent 3YO 8pt turn that branch into a full-blown scrape. Branch work, rub-urinating, hoofing, more pissing, more branch work…I’m going out there first thing in the AM, and emptying my first-of-the-day bladder into it.

That skinny white line next to the deer in these grainy pictures is my first “real” mock scrape tree. There was no scrape there but it’s a very high traffic area, and this tree had a branch that looked like it was put there but Jeebus himself for deer to use. So I took a stick and made a chevron in the dirt while holding a small grunt tube between my teeth like Jay-Z with a stoagie, then promptly emptied 40 ounces of Folgers “special brew” freedom into said chevron. This is less than two weeks later.
