Have 3 hawk helium's, they're last year's model. Cut down to 24" with aider I could consistently get 18-20'. Sticks are in good shape just wanting to try a different climbing method this year. $100 tyd

What was the per stick weight when cut down?

Right under 2lbs but that's still with the factory straps and buckles. You could rope mod them and reduce some noise and a little more weight.

But even if you wanted to keep them between saddle and sticks you're right in that 10 lb range. I liked the shorter sticks because they could easily strap on my pack and kept a pretty slim profile.

Thanks, I have some modded APIs. May sell a set one day and try out some helium’s
