Modifying Hawk Heliums - Step by Step

I just made a video showing how I modified my Hawk Helium’s. I also show what I used to make a DIY Versa Button. My sticks went from 2lb 15oz to 2lb 4 oz. The overall length is 24.625” and they are 23” step to step. The three sticks together weigh 6lbs 13oz. If you went to 20” spacing I bet you could get close to 6lbs even. I hope this is helpful to some of you.

DIY Versa Button Supply List

1/4”-20 x 2” Grade 8 bolt
1/4” Grade 8 washer
1/4” Grade 8 lock nut
1” Fender washer (1.25” may be better in some applications)
1/2” long steel spacer (1/4” I.D.)
