Now here's something else I do with my cameras in the off season. I call this my raptor cam because I am targeting owls, hawks, and other raptors with this set. I built a perch on the tree and placed a camera on the tree with the perch. I then zip-tied a fake mouse to the perch. Then I concealed a distressed bird call nearby that calls 24 hours a day. It gives the raptors a visual and audible target to search for. Many times they will come in and land on the perch and that's where they get their picture taken. Here are some examples.
