Mosquitoes and hunting

I keep these exact ones in my pack at all times. Super light weight & comes in a little bag
that packs down the size of a pack of gum. Also has a cinch cord to tighten around your
collar & easily fits over or under any kind of hat or boonie.

Sometimes the thermacell runs out or I run out of the pads or butane. Sometimes the mosquitos
just don't give a damn & try & eat the thermacell. Main reason I keep them is for when I'm hiking
in or out. The thermacells can't keep up good enough cause it's just blowing away. Either way I have
to have it or 2.

Funny thing in the south carolina swamps, if you listen well enough & randomly here a swarm of them
coming, there's often some kind of animal in the middle of them. A lot times where I can hear a swarm,
I start scanning, then out comes a deer or hog that are being followed.

I've noticed also, skeeters will be swarmed up on areas an animal was laying down for a little while after the animal has moved off. Fresh hog wallows u will see skeeters all over the place
