It's a good place to bow hunt, you have to draw a permit for gun or muzzle loader. There is 100's of thousands public land to the southeast of Fayetteville. I'm from Harrison takes me about an hour and a half to get to Fayetteville. Here's a link to the agfc public land map.

ThanksI live in Lowell (Springdale/Rogers) and only hunt public land. 75% of the time at Wedington WMA.
It's bow only which keeps the number of hunters down compared to other WMA's. Let me know if you have any other questions!
