It is frustrating browsing the classifieds as users cannot close out and/or delete sold items. Most classifieds from other sites either let you delete the post or close the post when an item is sold.

If they just say please close item sold they will be locked. Or spf. It almost happens instantly. It’s up to the seller to let saddle hunter know the item sold.

Correct I check the classifieds hourly to close and I know @Vtbow seem to close out them pretty quickly.

you can definitely edit your own post to say sold. I actualy think its nice that the ads stay there once locked. It allows people to stay honest with what they are selling and those looking to buy view what things sold for in the past if they want to do the research.

It may be helpful to have a policy that the seller puts "*SOLD* in the title when it is sold, but leaves the rest of the info. this would allow those browsing to see they were sold without wasting time clicking into ad..

I pretty much leave the classified open in a browser at work and refresh everytime I"m waiting for somethign to propogate or upload for work and try to tidy them up then. I try to wait to lock them until the seller has said the item is sold(not just SPF)--as since the site has grown more there seem to be more members dropping out of deals even though the said they would but it...
