As some of you already know my main style of hunting is still hunting and tracking on snow in the Adirondacks during rifle season, the rest of the time I’m doing hang and hunts, also in the big woods. A few years ago I started carrying a GoPro camera in an attempt to make a few videos for family and friends of my adventures, as time passed I started taking it a little more serious, with the help of my friend, Jeff Doyle, I agreed to start sharing some of them on his Youtube channel. This is my first video of what I anticipate to be several more over the next few months/years to come hopefully, it was a lot of fun and a learning experience making it. Self filming this style of hunting where the action is fast, close, and alone is a challenge, the footage can be hit or miss at times, combined with Youtube’s policy on hunting of what you can publicly show anymore, some of my better clips had to be heavily edited, but I think you guys will enjoy it none the less. Some of the members will remember this buck as I once had the story posted here some time ago, it was a full 2 month ordeal chasing this deer by me, and a 15 minute video doesn’t do the entire story justice, but there may be some future “plans“ for that at a later time, we will see! Thanks for watching and I hope you guys like it! Jon

I saw this on YT a few weeks ago and thought to myself that story and buck look and sound familiar...then I figured it out when I saw you in your cool boat. I enjoyed the saga before in my mind's eye, while following on here; but It is also cool to see it in video. Thanks and can't wait to see more!

That’s awesome!! I had a great time in your state with some fresh snow as well this year! I learned what Mountain-laurel was real fast, and here I thought green spruce Adirondack swamps were thick!

Man that’s so awesome, thanks for taking this along. I was content with the original write up but dang if that doesn’t do him justice! Congrats again Jon!!

Thanks Bigterp, it’s definitely a bit of a jump from what I’m used to, keeping to myself!!!

Thanks for sharing. I’ll watch that soon. Living in NH I have seen a few of Jeff Doyle’s videos.

Sure thing, Jeff is a super nice guy and great hunter as well, he’s made some awesome videos over the years!
