Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for doing what you guys do. You guys had your hands in killing this buck just as much as i did, weather you knew it or not. Saddle hunting has been a huge benefit to me and the way i hunt, this deer more than likely would have lived to see another day had i been in my old Xop vanish setup. I was after this buck all season and after 26 days afield i finally caught up with him. Keep striving for better, thanks again- Max

Great buck! Congrats. In all seriousness, how do you hunt a buck 26 days without tipping him off? What was your strategy for hunting him?

I should have clarified that not all of those 26 days were spent hunting this farms. Those 26 days were split almost equally between 4 farms. I would only hunt this farm and this buck when the wind was right and only when i knew when he was in the area. He had a very " roamer" personality and would only swing threw every 10-14 days. So when my dad had a sighting on the evening of Nov 5th i knew i had to go in after him. Rolled the dice on a risky hang and hunt and somehow came out on top.

Way to get it done! The saddle opens up a whole new set tools to put a good one on the ground.
