Need a little help with my platform

Oh goodness, I had OCB, in mind. Your talking about a cam buckle! JUNK! TOSS IT IN THE TRASH!
I love my over center buckle, but regardless of your attachment method, I’d try to keep the strap as perfectly straight around the tree as possible…..same with gear strap and tether at height. My sticks have plenty of sag in the cord for easy removal, but not for the platform! The loosening will happen as others said from multiple sources, like strap stretching and always diggin into a softer tree. I’d definitely ditch the cam buckle. If you are good with a ratchet strap they’ll work good too!

Those cam straps that come with those Predator platforms are known to stretch over time, mine does the same thing. Only thing you can really do is tighten the strap up after a few hours on stand and re-cam it. Maybe someone can give you a suggestion on a strap that doesn’t stretch quite as much.

Agreed - the very first time I used my Tethrd predator strap, I noticed it was a little more slick than the straps that came with my lone wolf straps (you can get them on Amazon
Cargo Equipment Corp. Replacement Lone Wolf Tree Stand Strap Larger (6 ft, Tan)
