New to saddle hunting. Good friend gave me a saddle to learn with. Another sold me some sticks cheap. Just looking for a cheap platform if any available. Wife still out of work due to covid so not much cash to play with. Thanks for any leads. Good luck to all this season.

Are you looking strictly for a saddle type platform, or any type of hang on platform.
I have some cheap Chinese hang ons and I would give you one but I doubt that you would want to pay what it costs to ship it. Thats why I asked where you are located.
 
Honestly just seeing what is offered or considered to be decent on a budget. As luck would have it my truck just took a dump so trying to get some ideas on what to get when I’m able to do so.

I used a hawk tree seat until I got something better. It works great can get both feet on it. And only $39 bucks on Amazon. It's on the heavier side at 5lbs though, but it won't break the bank

I’ll sell you a ridge runner, possibly minus the strap if I can’t find it, for 130.... excellent condition like new, used it maybe 10 times. I just prefer my predator.

Wild edge step platform

@gcr0003 thats pretty clever. I’ve learned that saddle hunters are very ingenious when it comes to diff methods of gear/hunting equipment!!! I am very new to this and can’t wait to figure out my way of doing all this. I certainly appreciate you and all the others info and tips sir. I will def try this one out once I get those steps. That’s the style of steps I am wanting to use. For now the lone wolf sticks will have to work just bc that’s what I got haha
