Hi all. I'm looking to get after coues deer down in Az where I live. I have railroad tracks I can access to get away from the general public on a river bottom where there are good coues. I have my kestral. I left my climbing sticks at my farm in Ohio. Anyone have any recommendation s that won't break the bank. I like the wild edge but they are backordered mcouse. Can use screw ins. Rut is starting....

Tough this time of year as pretty much the yearly run of everything has been sold. I'd try Craigslist and fb sale pages. Barring any luck there you may have to buy some box store sticks and suffer through the weight.

Buy 1 stick and use the 1 stick method, or make or buy 2 aiders and use the no stick method, or go to Walmart and buy the cheap ameristep screw in hooks

No screw ins allowed. I want to try elevated, these deer are stalked on ground for 4 months so want to mix it up. How bout Cranford with the rope? Anyone use these?

The quickest way is to pick up some LW sticks or something along those lines at a Bass Pro or sports shop near your location. $150 for four!

Really depends on the tree type you're hoping to climb. I'm sold on SRT for lightweight or sticks x4 for ease of climb if you don't mind 10+ pounds. One stick also works great on most trees, I wouldn't one stick without a rappel option for the way down though.
