need for the suction cups or bungee to stack sticks?

I see a lot of people using bungees or straps to stack there sticks together, and now even Hawk has added the suction cup/posts to their sticks and I'm not sure any of that is needed. if you've done the rope mod, just use the ropes. I've been wrapping my old leverage sticks like this, here in this pic, for 5 or more years with no issues. simply stack the sticks, take the top sticks rope an wrap it as tightly around the bundle as you can, then cinch it around the versa button just as you do on the tree. then I just wrap the tag end around a bunch of times and tie a half hitch or two at the end.

I also remove the middle sticks rope from the versa button and girth hitch it to the top stick down near the bottom step then wrap it tightly and do half hitches at the tag end as well. then, depending of whether I and back packing or shoulder slinging, I attache them to the pack with nite eyz gear ties or use my rife sling with kayak speed clips (as seen in the pic).

no need for the extra weight of bungees or straps since you are already packing the ropes.

I just wrap the stick with vet wrap until they stick together with a little squeeze. Keeps them together just fine.

I do something very similar. I stack em, take all 3 versa straps and wrap the crap out of it, twist the tag ends and take one of the bungees and hook it to a stand-off. Rock solid

Marc...at first I started to laugh thinking you were joking thinking you were talking about the adhesive sticking the sticks together...but then I realized you are increasing the width of the standoffs and using the friction created. smart. :)

Yes exactly. Just have to take a minute to figure out how many wraps are needed.
