I am new to saddles and my first and only saddle is a tactisaddle. I cannot get comfortable in it. It rides up and causes hip pinch. I have tried adjusting bridge, tether, and saddle position. Nothing seems to work good. I always feel like I’m sitting on one piece of small rope. I want to add a “seat”. I want it to look like a kestrel. Is this possible? How would I do it and what materials should I use? Any help is greatly appreciated!

How long is your bridge?

I have tried several different bridge lengths. I think the issue is that it doesn’t have any seat material. You just sit on 2” webbing so it feels like I’m sitting on a rope instead of feeling like a hammock.

Hip pinch usually is solved with bridge length. I run a 24" bridge on my SD and it's nearly perfect. Too each his own though.
