New Aerohunter saddle

I did as well. Was told the initial material is being used for saddle production and the backhands should start being produced in a couple weeks
 
Am I missing something? The Flex looks pretty cool but only thing that's really upgraded from the Kestrel is the flex band in the seat, the adjustable bridge, as well as the forward Lineman belt loops. Other than the camo choices it's a kestrel with all the mods one can do to the kestrel themselves, why pay extra for camo choice? Is it just a new toy and everyone wants it before they sell it on here, ex. perch and predator platform

Well right now it’s only 17 dollars more than the kestrel. If I were looking to purchase a new product from aerohunter it would be the flex. Even if you decided you would rather have the kestrel in a couple months you could probably sale the flex at a profit and buy a kestrel. At the current price you couldn’t do many upgrades diy. What intrigues me about price is it’s the same price regardless of how you order it. The model with a fixed webbing bridge is the same cost as with a 13 dollar carabiner on the end.
 
I don't think the wait is going to be long at all. I just called and talked to Debbie and also placed my order online. I explained I was going to be out of town in a couple of weeks and didn't want it to show up then. She said that would probably be right about the timeframe and for me to put notes in the order to not ship between the dates I would be gone. Excited, it looks comfy.
 
For the guys that own a kestrel, what size are you going with? From my understanding the kestrel 1 seems small? I had a kite size 2 and it felt big so I traded it for a large mantis. I’m gonna order the flex but not sure what to do.

Last week before I ordered a Kestrel. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if that changes. It would make sense to offer the new camo patterns.

Second guessing my camo choice on the flex,I ordered one today in predator,not sure if I'm gonna like the white in pattern after looking closer at pics,Hard to tell from pictures

The flex band is really the big differentiator between this and the original kestrel. If it works as intended then I think there’s the potential that the flex will be super comfortable and not ride up. My guess is that (as with all things saddle) it will work great for some and “meh” for others... If you’re in the first camp then you might think it’s the greatest thing since NutterBuster and Jelly!...

If they are seeing your saddle, they should be dead at that point! That pattern is perfect for tree use.
 
I was strong... The flex was in my cart all day but i did not order it! I do not need another saddle. The Kestrel I have is fine. So what if it looks cool and might reduce hip pinch I don't really suffer from, I don't need it. I only have 1 butt, why do I need 2 saddles? Who cares if the predator pattern is awesome, I don't need it.
