Hey Everyone!

Sold my climber and going all in on the saddle. I was looking for something that weighs less and is easier to manuever through the woods so I could be more mobile and hunt deeper, and this looked like exactly the right thing.

I've been practicing with 20" heliums sticks, but also have an SRT setup as well.

For those hunters using SRT, any bag recomendations? Living in michigan I do end up packing in warmer layers, so I'm looking for a pack that can hold my rope and a coat without being too bulky. I plan to strap my platform to the outside since I'd rather not strap clothes to the outside.

Thanks!

Welcome from Mi as well. Back packs, scent elimination, and arrow set ups are probably 3 most debated topics on here. But check out https://saddlehunter.com/community/...l-saddle-hunting-backpack-thread.22868/page-1
So I've noticed! I've been lurking for a while as I've put together my gear. Just waiting on my saddle to show up and I'll be ready to start practicing this new way (for me) of getting into a tree.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and the overload of information on this site!
