It;s been a while (10-15) years since I have used a saddle for hunting. Not sure why I got away from it but I am looking to get back into it and i still have my vintage Timberline saddle with shoulder straps and clanky connectors. I think that may stay retired as it is still in great condition but not very adjustable like the new saddles. I'm also a little older than I was and not sure if my body is up to it but everything i have been researching looks like saddles have come a long way in comfort. I have shot quite a few deer using a saddle and now where I hunt the mobility could be a big advantage. Looking forward to learning new tricks for an older dog.
 
I'm in Rochester as well! Brand new to the saddle (Aerohunter Kestrel Flex), just received and look forward to getting familiar with it.

Where do you hunt. I live in Greece but hunt down in Canisteo area
 
Welcome back to the game ole dog. Seems like a lot of guys are from WNY, I used to hunt out there when I went to school in Canandaigua. Especially in S. Dansville., and Naples. Ex-wife is from Nunda. Just went on a fishing trip with my buddy from Arkport. Come to think of it I used to go on the Widmere Wine Co tasting tour about 3 times a week.
