All,
I am extremely impressed by this community after lurking here for a while. Climbing and hunting like this is something that has interested me for some time. I experimented with arborist techniques and climbing harnesses some 20 years ago but could not find much information about it back then. I have up and trudged a climber since then but to see everyone here that is doing this safely and effectively has renewed my interest.
Going with a climbing harness and sitdrag this year. Plan to use the one stick method with an old gorilla step to keep the cost down and see how I like everything.
Looking forward to it and much appreciation for the incredible amount of info you all have managed to gather and catalogue.
