Hey folks,

New saddle hunter here. Primarily got into saddles since the only tree stands I own are tree lounges, which were great when I had private land so as I could leave them on the tree, but that was probably 20 years ago.

About me: father, brother, retired Marine Naval Aviator (medical retirement), did 1 pump in Afghanistan, and spent the rest of the time training people how to fly the MV-22B. Hunting wise, I've hunted all over the lower-48. Favorite hunt so far has to be Pronghorn antelope in WY. Grew up on whitetails, but hunted mostly southern muleys while stationed in southern California. Was a duck fanatic for about 7 years as well, lol, but not many here in central AL.

Anyways, thanks to everyone who's contributed to the forum as it's been a wealth of knowledge.

-Dave

P.S. Here are some pics from my first saddle hunt!

Thanks guys! Hunted out of the saddle yesterday, passed on a doe at 27yds since she had a fawn. Another awesome hunt from the saddle!
