I am less than new to saddle hunting at this point as I haven't actually took the plunge yet. I've been doing the research into which saddle system I want to get into. My best friend has been tinkering g with some diy saddle stuff and an old trophy line. He has been telling me how I needed to look into it. I will be going all in and getting a complete saddle system after the first of the year. I llom forward to cruising around this forum and learning all I can.

Welcome to the site! I'm a newbie myself and this is my first season saddle hunting. All I can say is that I learned a lot here before making my purchase and keep learning more after the fact and I'm sure you'll find the same.

Welcome from NOVA. There are some guys on here from VA, look up the saddle hunter map and maybe you can hook up with one to try on a saddle. If you're near NOVA we can meet somewhere and I'll let you try on mine.

Hey do you live in white top? I live in Fries. I have a new saddle arriving on the 6 of January. So if I can help you in any way I would be glad to.

Welcome from NOVA, this was my first year saddle hunting and while I'm still learning, I experienced some major pluses using a saddle, primarily getting into trees that would be impossible with a climber and really difficult with a hang on, which definitely contributed to me putting meat in the freezer!
