I want to try saddle haunting but has anyone had hip replacements and how comfortable does that feel on your new titanium

I know 2 guys who saddle hunt that have had hip replacement surgery. One is 81 years young the other only 56. They both say they are way more comfortable now that they have had a replacement than before. The hip replacement is really not too bad as they do not have to cut any major tendons to dislocate it to swap out the ball and socket. The shoulder is tough as they have to cut the subscapularus to dislocate the shoulder, that is a major as it is part of the rotator cuff. I would not hesitate to have your hips done if that is why you inquired. Shawn

I've had hipp and both knees replaced. I tell people sitting in the saddle is the easy part, getting up to hunting height was my biggest problem.

Thanks harold, going to need knee done at some point, have had 27 Orthovisc shots in left knee, dred replacement on the knee, good luck out there
