Hey everybody. This is my first season hunting. I’ve been fortunate enough to get in on some private property in central Tn that has preset tree stands. While grateful for the opportunity, I feel like something is lacking. I’m drawn to to public land and the mobility that a saddle provides. I just don’t know where to get started. I’m an avid podcast listener and I came across y’all through Scott and Greg on the Saddle Hunter Podcast. I burned through every episode in about 2 days. There seems to be a ton of information here and I’m looking forward to everything this sight has to offer.

Welcome from Oklahoma! I started using my saddle again this year (rarely used it in the past), but now I am considering selling all my other stands. It has to be the most versatile and mobile hunting setup there is! Perfect for public land, you can get in, hunt your tree, and get out with very little sign or disturbance.
