New Hunting Beast Hang On

Ya I got one lol. Price is crazy, but the platform size is just about perfect imo. The .5 I had was brutally uncomfortable for me. I do 40+ sits a year, so this will pay for itself quickly.

He getting that stimulus cheque cash.....

I will buy one if the .5 does not work out for me and I go stand and sticks. But damn 625 for a stand raises an eyebrow

Really want to support Dan but “ouch” he is making it difficult to not just buy a 1.0

Folks will pay $1,000+ for an OOS tag, but $625 is too much for something you can use the rest of your life. That’s kinda mind boggling to me.

Agreed. The same guys who critique the price are the same guys with truck payments of 700 a month for 7 years. 625 is alot of cash to me, but seems like almost nothing compared to the use I'll put it through over the next 5 years

Pairing this with my saddle doubt I will grab the platform much at all. I just won't take a chance on buying a lwcg stand after the ambush. The beast sticks have been flawless.

I'll wait for the price. If it's any more than the LWCG stands then I think it will be a hard sell except for the hardcore Beasts.

Just bumping this. I remember telling people to not expect it to be cheap. I'm not surprised at all by the price. But like a saddle, you only need one. Too much for me though. $625 is nearly as much as my saddle, platform, sticks, and hang on combined.

I’ve hunted out of my LW Assault for maybe 50+ hunts/year for 12 years. It only cost $249 and weighs 3lbs more.

My truck payments certainly aren’t $700 either, just saying.

Not saying don’t buy it as it’s your money but there is no arguing it’s absurdly expensive for a stand that isn’t all that revolutionary to whats already out there.

An old school Loc On Limit has around the same specs. I bought one and totally refurbished it. It certainly isn't as nice or sturdy of a stand, but if all you want is very light and just big enough to work, then it'll do.

For anyone interested, they posted the back story on the beast stand. Kind of interesting. I admit I do like the way the beast sticks lock onto the stand.

Yeah i’m definitely concerned about the weight and none of the shine.

I want my stuff to be as easy as possible to get out there, set up, hunt out of and get it back home.

The .5 looks nice and is the lightest stand available and i like the way the sticks marry so well to the stand. Basically my Assault but even better so tempted to grab one which means i probably will eventually but the Beast stand seems to not do a ton different than other stands for that $625 price.

At least imo.
