New linemens climbing system

I can imagine. I am thinking this year I may do the both. But i am enjoying watching this thread to see what these guys come up with for this buckingham/tree squeeze type style of LB/Tether.

That is cool. Has anyone tried it?

I have some dynamic laying around. You think it would make a difference on these short lengths? Would you think dynamic for both sections? (Linesman and back of tree)?
It was just my first thought. I was thinking that if i was climbing up with spurs and kicked out that I could fall a foot or maybe 2 maximum before this could catch me. I know that in even a short fall you can create a pretty large force. That being said I am using static for my lineman's belt currently and I don't really expect it to catch me, it is more of a positioning device. I guess with this I am thinking more of it actually catching me so dynamic would be a better option. And yes, if I were building it with dynamic I would do both parts of the system that way.
