Instagram is where the pic comes from. I'm curious on specs I've already built one (in the process anyways) I wont waste my money unless its leaps and bounds better.

This is awesome. Like others have said just hope they ship in a timely manner. Looking to jump in with both feet into saddle hunting and want to have everything by late spring or summer.
Yup.Let them work the bugs out. Every time I jump the gun, version 2 comes out and I regret my purchase. Today a lot of R&D is done by the customers. The great rat race!
whatever you do start ordering your stuff now , trust me prepare now don't wait. Im not sure when this will hit the market the ATA show is on now so were about to see a lot of stuff !This is awesome. Agree about the predator being $100 less and more compact... I cannot see the benefit to buying the new platformI like the size and weight of the Tethrd Predator. The new LW one looks a little big/heavy compared to the predator. The predator serves my saddle needs this year.
Now....... I do like the way LW new sticks pack up and snap into the platform.....Pretty Niffty. I think the LW mini stick missed the mark a little with a 17” step, shoulda been 20-22”.
Makes sense... I never liked a platform until I got a predator. It seems huge compared to a ring of steps. I still use steps too. 50-50Unfortunately the predator, klems, and the xop did not work for me. (had them, sold them) I think new guys starting out on platforms, or guys switching over from the steps, pegs, ext. would be fine with the small platforms. After using the Assassin only, as a platform for over ten years, it seemed impossible for ME to adjust. Anyway, I'll take the extra pounds.
Gotta admit I'm fired up!

Deer and Debt slayer?! You’re awesome manNope and the only thing DaveT1963 is rich in is friends, family and my faith - but I certainly am in a better place then 20-30 years ago Debt free this year - just booked a KY velvet hunt
Unless I am missing something... I would still buy the predator. Unless you have size 14 feet. I may order a second predator before I order a platform that is $100 more and bigger and bulkier and likely heavier. Is it stronger - maybe. Does it have a name to it yes.I think this really is of interest to those of us that don’t already have a tethrd or other platform. If I already had one I don’t think it would be worth the money for maybe a slight upgrade if at all. But if you are in the market for your firat I think this would be near the top!
I have some oversized size 14 boots...and the primal platform (smaller than predator) is plenty big.Unless I am missing something... I would still buy the predator. Unless you have size 14 feet. With a predator you can actually swing around behind a small tree and straddle the platform. Do you think you could do that with a primal step.I have some oversized size 14 boots...and the primal platform (smaller than predator) is plenty big.
The lone wolf assassin was designed to stand on while clipped in to a harness, wasn't it? Leaning or sitting with a modern saddle doesn't need so much room. Enough to take the pressure off, pivot to shoot, and get some edge grip.
