New member to the forum and to saddle hunting. I have primarily hunted from climbing stands until the last few years when I switched to a run and gun setup of hang-ons and sticks. Decided to give saddle hunting a try by purchasing the TETHRD Phantom package and some Wild Edge Steps from their blem page.

I hunt primarily SE Virginia with a few trips home to Alabama sprinkled in yearly.

Thanks for all the great information that is provided on this forum and I look forward to contributing where I can.

Welcome from PA ! Sounds like a good set up man! Ran basically the same set up for a little wile. Eventually went to one sticking. But definitely like the we steps. Can’t go wrong!!
 
Welcome from NOVA. I hope you enjoy and have success with the new saddle. I switched to primarily using a saddle last year and think my success was due in part to off season "shooting from the saddle" practice while my failures were due to not enough off season "in-the-saddle" practice. Get out and practice with it and you should do well!
 
Welcome from northern Michigan! I was a dedicated mobile climbing stand hunter for decades. Switched to the saddle and have never looked back. Enjoy!
