Welcome from Frederick, MD. We have a similar set up. I too, use a Cruzr saddle, OOAL Scot platform on the top step of my Beast Sticks. I also use a ring of steps, SquirrelSteps, from Eastern Woods Outdoors.
I really like using the the a couple of extra steps in conjunction with my platform. Makes it a whole lot easier to maneuver around the tree for 360 deg shooting. They don't take up much room in the pack either.

Me too, and for forked trees I like to do stuff like this sometimes.

Ha! That's a great idea. Those forked trees can pose a problem getting to that opposite side. Going to try it next time I'm up in a forked one.

I shot my first deer from the saddle a bit later that day, spike on this year's opener. He's currently in the overhead compartment in my bag, just a bit more dried out and peppered.
