I picked up my new Mathews Phase 4 29" on Monday. I went into my local shop and shot the Phase 4 29/33 and the VTM 31. The draw cycle seemed a touch better on the VTM but the back wall and hold felt incredible on the Phase 4's. I bumped up from 60# to 70# so I didn't hold the draw cycle of the Mathews against it. I didn't feel an ounce of difference between ATAs in the Phase 4's so I went the shorter route. Put a ticket in for the incoming shipment to have one held in Green Ambush. Still in the process of sighting my Fast Eddie sight tape in (2 babies under 4yo make time an essence) but I hope to have that nailed down this weekend. I'm really enjoying the process since its been nearly a decade since I've had a new bow and the more I shoot it the happier I am with my decision. I can't wait for our season to start in a few weeks!

Congrats!!! I have never shot anything of this quality. I am pretty new and own a Mission. Buddy of mine says don't shoot one until you're ready to buy. LOL..I get you...got two kids too. 13 and 8. They're expensive!! Enjoy your purchase!!
Converted from Hoyt to Mathews 2 years ago (V3x 29). Not sure if I’ll ever go back. Mathews’ bows are just so damned quiet and dead in the hand. It’s pretty crazy
I honestly just swapped my QAD from my old bow for now. It still works well but I do like the look of the integrated systems.
Your buddy is right haha once I had them in hand it was all over. I couldn’t see myself leaving without either taking one home or putting an order in. Thanks!
I have a good friend who loves his Hoyt but said he’d be open to trying Mathews in the future. May not be long before he’s converted as well haha I’m really enjoying my experience with Mathews so far!
