New saddle hunter, why not the Cruzr xc?

Awesome write up and comparison. Is overwatch still making the Orion? All I see on the website is the transformer.

I have a TX5 on order, very excited to get my hands on this one. I’ve been very happy with my Phantom but got the itch to try out something else.

Yea they still make them. I have one. It’s a very nicely made saddle. Jamie’s stitching is some of the best in the industry. He’s right up there with TX5 and Aerohunter for quality of stitching.

I believe you have to reach out to @JCLINE84 directly to order an Orion. Since it’s 100% custom he would need to get details.

Yes, that is correct. The custom nature makes it difficult to review against others because every build for the individual is a little different. The one Jamie sent up for the meetup had an interesting rope belt design and non-load rated leg buckles and straps where another review I saw had a waist belt and load rated leg straps and buckles. You pretty much can get whatever options you want on the base saddle design.
