Ordered an aerohunter kestrel flex today, will be my first hunting saddle. I climbed for cutting trees for 6 or 7 years will this experience help me with adjusting to hunting out of a saddle?
I'm from Michigan, have been curious out saddle hunting for years because of the previous experience but never pulled the trigger until nowOh yeah. You will be 10 steps ahead of a lot of guys that are new. The saddle is actually the least difficult thing. The ropes and hanging/ climbing safely is the biggest learning curve. Where are you from?

I love mine.Awesome thank you for the reply. Just have to decide on which platform to get. Thinking I'll probably end up with a predator
I used to use climbing spikes but I'm not sure my legs are in shape enough to do that so I'll be using lone wolf sticks.Given your prior climbing experience, what climbing method are you leaning towards? You might show some of us a trick or two
